A MONK of Sundays

A one-man portrait of jazz great, composer/pianist, Thelonious Monk, this Sunday at Rustik Tavern

Beginning this Sunday and continuing tentatively through the next six Sundays (February 17) at Rustik Tavern, jazz musician Rome Neal will give an intimate, one-man performance of "Monk," a play and portrait of jazz pianist Thelonious Monk. 

"This is my way of celebrating Thelonious Monk's 95th birthday and my 13th year of performing this Audelco Award winning play that has changed my life, has taken me all around this country -- even to Africa --  and has touched so many people on a profound level," said Neal.
