1. A-train weekday planned service changes: Beginning Tuesday, August 28, at 12:01 a.m. until Friday, August 31, 5:00 a.m., 207 St-bound A trains are rerouted via the F from Jay St-MetroTech to W 4 St.

2. On Monday, August 27, Bed-Vine Wines will host another one its Wine + Dessert Pairings: Lily and Fig Bakery, 727 Franklin Ave, 4pm - 7pm , $5 , Strawberry sorbet paired with Torres Orange. 'Devil's Food Cake' with a mixed berry topping paired with Torley Fortuna Sparkling Wine.
Yellow Sponge Cake with a peach, nectarine & plum topping paired with Red Lion Tokaji 3 Puttyonos.

4. On Wednesday, August 29, from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., Kars4Kids is teaming up with local politicians and community organizers in many areas to distribute close to 3,000 free backpacks for children going back to school. The giveaway will take place at Day Care Center, located at 756 Myrtle Avenue.

5. Comedians Carl Samuels, Chao Williams with Dave Lester along with DJ N.O.-create team up to perform in an All-Star comedy revue at the Boom Boom Laff Room, located at 325 Franklin Ave, Brooklyn, NY-- as seen on TV, Film, and Stage.
