Motorists expecting to use the eastbound Belt Parkway during these hours are urged to plan ahead and consider alternate routes.

2.     A handful of new middle schools will be opening next fall as extensions of existing elementary schools, or to replace low-performing schools that are phasing out. Parents interested in enrolling students entering 6th grade in September must apply to these schools by March 23. Applications are available from elementary school guidance counselors. In District 14 in Williamsburg, PS 157 will expand to become include middle school grades, with priority given to continuing 5th graders.
