1. Planned Weekday/Weeknight MTA Services Changes:

  • From 11:00pm – 5:00am, Mon to Fri, Nov 14 – 18, Queens-bound A trains run express from Broadway Junction to Euclid Avenue
  • Beginning Mon, Nov 14, at 5:00am, 2011 until Spring 2012, Church Av-bound G trains skip 15 St-Prospect Park and Fort Hamilton Pkwy
  • From 10:00am – 3:00pm, Wed to Fri, Nov 16 – 18, Jamaica Center-bound J trains run express from Marcy Av to Myrtle Av
  • From 10:00am – 3:00pm, Wed to Fri, Nov 16 – 18, Metropolitan Av-bound M trains run express from Marcy Av to Myrtle Av; And from 10:00pm – 12:00 midnight, Tue to Thu, Nov 15 – 17, M trains are rerouted to the F between 47-50 Sts and 36 St, Queens in both directions

2. On Wednesday, November 16, from 6:00pm - 10:00 pm, Bed-Vyne Wine Shop located at 370 Tompkins Avenue is holding a Pre-Thanksgiving Wine & Food Tasting, featuring guest chefs and wine and food pairings from around the world: 30 different wines from Argentina, Australia, Chile, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, South Africa, New York, California, Washington. 3. The 79th Pct. Council Meeting date for November has been moved up one week to Wednesday, November 16. The 79th Pct. Community Council meets at the Job Corps Building, located at 585 Dekalb Avenue, 2nd Floor at 7:00pm.

4. On Wednesday, November 16, from 5:00pm – 9:00pm, the Central Brooklyn Jazz Consortium (CBJC) will celebrate its 12th Anniversary at Sugar Hill Supper Club, located at 609 Dekalb Avenue. Performance by Ahmed Abdullah’s Diaspora. For tickets, call 1-800-838-3006.
