Safiya Hassan owner N-Diya Spa; Margo Lewis and Daphne Surpis owners of Ms Dahlia’s Café; and Daphne Surpris and Emmanuel Tropnasse owners of Vodou Bar have transformed Nostrand Avenue between Hancock and Halsey Streets into an urban oasis. The women are proud residents of Bedford Stuyvesant and their commitment to providing their neighbors with quality goods and services is evident even before you enter the doors of their establishments. The streetscape these merchants created is vibrant and welcoming.
