Fire on Monroe St.

Fire at 229 Monroe St. family lost everything.

Alex Jeffrey who lives in the house 225 Monroe St two houses down from the home that was caught on fire is coordinating donation efforts for this family.  It's a tragedy that this hapened to the Green Family.  This could have happened to any of us and only by the grace of God, no lives were taken.  He would like to collect a monetary donation on their behalf.   It can be any amount and every little bit counts.  You can either drop it in my mail slot on the first floor or you can call me.  My cell number is 718 753-6041.  He will be collecting donations until Monday and it will be delivered to the Greene family on Monday night. Please also check out the 200 Block Monroe St. Block Association group page on Facebook for additional items needed in addition to the Monetary donations for the Greene family.
