“If only I had some extra money, I’d buy that building and turn it into a record store.”
You see it all the time: An abandoned commercial property that immediately, you envision can be transformed into a successful business venture.
At 940 Bedford Avenue on the corner of Willoughby Avenue, there is an abandanoed one-story warehouse that used to sell auto body parts.
The style of the signage, which still remains along the upper awning of the building, appears to be dated from the 60s/70s. So likely, the shop has been closed for quite some time. To the left of the abandoned building is another abandoned brownstone, and directly left of the brownstone is the Madeline E. Randers Residence, a substance abuse treatment rehabilitation center.
So, what do you think should fill the void left by this property? What kind of business venture would add to this area of Bedford Avenue where new restaurants are popping up every other month?
Take our poll, and tell us in the comments.
