Report: 'Safe Spaces' Spreading in Bed-Stuy
Community outreach coming from business owners, advocacy groups.
Bed-Stuy's LGBTQ community has a growing base of support in the area, according to a new report from Brooklyn Bureau.

The call out to businesses, the report said, was based in part on the difficulties that some communities have reaching out to police and government officials in a partisan environment.
August's Bed-Stuy Pride event also proved to be a great outreach moment between businesses and the LGBT community, the report said.
