Elgin Gallery, the new art gallery at 52 Tompkins Ave. in Bed-Stuy, is set to debut with a new show entitled 'Do Not Disturb'.
The gallery, which opened at the end of September, will feature Guggenheim recipients Judith Linhares, Mary Jo Vath, and Farrell Brickhouse along with emerging artist Ashley Garrett.
Jo Vath's paintings feature familiar faces such as Batman or SpongeBob SquarePants recontexualized, while Garrett says she engineers her paintings through memory.
The opening reception will be held Nov. 8 at 6 p.m. and the showing will last through Dec. 18.
