Justin Warner is back in Brooklyn after his recent victory on the “Food Network Star” competition and excited to be hosting the first “Rub-A-Grub”. The menu will include several appetizer selections as well as beer and cocktail specials. Justin’s new show, “Rebel With A Culinary Cause” will premier on the Food Network this fall.

One of New York’s favorite DJs, Rich Medina will be taking the party on a sonic journey through hip-hop, house, Afrobeat, funk and soul, unearthing one musical gem after another. From NYC to LA to London to Tokyo, and everywhere in between, music lovers know not to miss a club night when Rich Medina is manning the decks.

As one of the four members of NYC’s Deadly Dragon Sound, Queen Majesty can be found bringing crates of 45s to their weekly downtown parties that showcase Jamaican music or hosting the radio show “Jamaica Rock” on EastVillageRadio.com. As a reggae vinyl collector for 16 years, Queen Majesty never ceases to find rare selections in this vast genre.

Do or Dine has been paving an innovative culinary trail in Bed-Stuy since in 2011, receiving wide acclaim for their fun and eccentric approach to cuisine or “fine diving” as the owners call it. NY Magazine notes, “nothing is as straightforward as it seems. There are (savory) doughnuts stuffed with foie gras mousse, and fried dumplings under a veil of melted cheese– an Asian-fied play on nachos.”

Sound Liberation Front has been hosting music events in Brooklyn since 2007. From underground parties to large scale productions, SLF events have been featured by NPR, Time Out NY, Village Voice and National Geographic. This year’s Coney Island Reggae Beach Party was featured in the 101 Best Things To Do This Summer and Top 5 Waterfront Events by Time Out NY.
