The Hattie Carthan After Church market is re-opening for its second season of healthy food and cultural activities for every generation. The Hattie Carthan herb farm is an educational herb farm in Bedford Stuyvesant Brooklyn which was converted in 2011 from an abandoned lot. The Hattie Carthan herb farm and its After Church market achieves its goals through increasing access to fresh food while providing education ,operating a functioning herbal apothecary space where youth interns and community residents learn to work with herbs to support their health.
