Right now, outside of Shirley + Alice Vintage and Designer Boutique, located at 434 Marcus Garvey Blvd, you will find boxes of vintage wares, all going for $5.
The sale, which started about two weeks ago, is a part of the store’s end-of-summer clearance special where, with a little digging, you can find vintage jackets, purses, all sorts of knick-knacks to give your wardrobe a last-minute summer refresh.
“We realized that we needed to start bringing in fall. So we wanted to get rid of all of our extra pieces, summer pieces, so that we can get more space for the fall. Because we have big plans for the fall,” Shantelle Garrett, the store owner’s assistant.
“Dresses, shirts, blazers, pants, shoes, five dollars! Everything is five dollars!”
