Announcement: Getting Your Financial House in Order

Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. (Gamma Iota Lambda Chapter), the Bedford-Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation, the Coalition for the Improvement of Bedford-Stuyvesant and HSBC Bank invite you to “Getting Your Financial House in Order,” on Tuesday, March 22, 6:00 pm, at the Skylight Gallery in BSRC, Restoration Plaza, 1368 Fulton Street.

Experts will discuss information that will help residents feel more secure about their future as they plan during this challenging time. Topics include savings for emergency funds, education and retirement planning, investment strategy, tax matters and more.

Featured presentation by Ryan Mack, president of Optimum Capital Management and author of “Living in the Village.” Ryan has made regular television appearances on such networks as GMTV, CNBC, CNN, Thomson Reuters, and BET discussing economic and social issues that impact American citizens.

In addition to the program panel, the event will also include an information resource fair and book signing by Mack.

Additional remarks by Loretta Abrams, senior vice president of community investment at HSBC and Cathie Mahon, deputy commissioner for Financial Empowerment at the NYC Department of Consumer Affairs.
