As of Wednesday, June 27, 2012, the newly selected 79th Pct. Community Council board members are:
President-- Dr. Kim Best
Vice President-- Barbara Biggs Glover
Treasurer-- Alice Barnes
Recording Secretary-- Sophia Durral
Sergeant at Arms-- Kareem Abdul Akbar
Corresponding Secretary-- Isaac Mickens
Assistant Secretary-- Allison Davis
*Elections are held every two years.
*Announcement: The 79th Police Precinct 2012 "National Night Out" is August 6, 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Von King Park.
The 79th Pct. Community Council will be out for summer recess over the next two months. Monthly meetings will resume on Wednesday, September 26, at the Job Corps building, 7:00 p.m.
