DISCOVER YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD RESOURCE AND SAFETY EXPO

All of Bedford-Stuyvesant is getting ready for the Seventh Annual Discover Your Neighborhood Resource and Safety Expo.  The Expo will be held at Boys and Girls H.S. on Thursday, June 6th, from 5 to 8 p.m.  Over one hundred human service agencies and organizations of all types will be represented.  There will be something for everyone.  The purpose of the Expo is to link our neighbors with a broad variety of resources right on our home turf.

Come relax in our Savor Bed-Stuy Cafe, and enjoy everything from a snack to a full meal.  Shop in our Vendors' Marketplace for a dizzying variety of goodies.

Take in these informative workshops: CPR Training; Elder Care for the Entire Family; Free and Low-Cost Job Prep Programs; Safety in Our Community (blockwatcher training and more).
The Expo is sponsored by the Bedford-Stuyvesant Youth, Education and Safety Task Force, in partnership with the Bridge Street Development Corporation and Community Board 3.  Funding is provided by Council Member Albert Vann and the New York City Council. For more information, contact Community Board 3 at (718) 622-6601.
