Community Update

My daughter started here in September 2013. Two months later I brought her home after a day at school to find a bedbug fall out of her shirt. I kill it right away and since it was on a Friday I waited till Monday to give the school a call. I spoke to a family worker about the situation that monday and he stated that my case was a first of its kind in the school. I called again on Tuesday to find out the policy's in place to protect my daughter and other kids from cross contamination. The social worker stated that they had a bedbug infestation from the apartment building above the school and that they were trying to get it under control. Yet when I and other parents registered in September no one was advised of this problem. They took children into the school as if they did not have an infestation. I called on Wednesday to find out what perventive measures were being taken and the social work stated that they had everything under control and that the whole building was exterminated. I found that hard to believe being that I spoke to her Tuesday about the issue and the issue was then solved by Wednesday morning. I decided to pull my daughter out of the program that Wednesday. My daughter doesn't and shouldn't be in a place where her well being or her families well being isn't being respected of protected. If they lied to parent about their bedbug iinfestation god only knows what else they would lie about to keep there jobs. I don't recommend the program to anyone or their babies. Keep away from this place and think twice before applying here. My apartment is being exterminated the end of the month for precautionary measures by my management company....Thank god :)
