What Do You Think of Jay-Z Selling His Barclays Stake?

Less than a year after its official opening, Jay-Z is selling the House that Hov Built.

Ok, so no one actually calls it that, for good reason, but his involvement in the Brooklyn Nets and the Barclays Center has been a selling point for years. Now, as reported this week, Jay-Z is selling his stake for upwards of $1.5 million. This comes on the heels of his sale of his shares in the Nets to new coach Jason Kidd.

Strictly speaking, the sale isn't really his idea. Because of his new sports agency, he can't have ownership stake in a team or a venue, as it would constitute a conflict of interest.

Still, its hard to picture what the Barclays Center would look like without Jay-Z's direct involvement. And not just because he designed those ridiculous "Vault" boxes that don't have a view of the court.

What do you think, will Barclays miss Jay-Z? Or is he still going to be a big presence? Let us know what you think in the comments.
