Touré: "Who's Afraid of Post-Blackness?"

On Wednesday, February 1 at 7:00 p.m., author and cultural critic Touré, will visit Brooklyn Public Library’s Central Library and discuss his new book, Who’s Afraid of Post-Blackness? What It Means to Be Black Now.

One of The New York Times’ most notable books of 2011, the book defines and demystifies modern Blackness. Touré is also the author of Never Drank the Kool-AidSoul City and The Portable Promised Land.
