Starting on Friday, the Brooklyn Museum's newest exhibition will take a long look at fashion withThe Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk.
The exhibition is an examination of fashion icon Jean Paul Gaultier, his methods and his influences, from the eyes of those who worked alongside him. The Brooklyn Museum's website says it will focus on seven main themes around more than 140 pieces, all observing his transition from Parisian sidewalks to Fashion Week and designing for film. It runs from Oct. 25 to Feb. 23, and is free to Brooklyn Museum members. For more information, click here.
