Why Go: Live Pirates from the crew of Irondale Theater invade story time with a sword fighting display sure to engage your kids inner pirate with treachery and treasure.
Where/When: Irondale Theatre, 85 S. Oxford St. Brooklyn, Saturday and Sunday March 5 and 6, performances at 3pm and 8pm.
Why Go: Adventure and treachery abound in the South Seas as Long John Silver and his mates cast about with adventures of swashbuckling excitement.

Why Go: So your pirates can escape! Take your weekend pirates to the sea to learn about local wildlife of marine mammals, whales and dolphins. Don't forget the plastic swords!

An all-girl tea party after a weekend of swashbuckling plastic swords? Well, it seems fair! Girls 12 and under learn about women in history and are served a cup of tea and cookies. Tell the girls to raise their right pinkie when they sip, because it's very civilized.
