Women of African Descent Film Festival

The 11th annual Women of African Descent Film Festival takes place May 5, 2012 from 10am- 7pm on Long Island University's Brooklyn Campus in the Spike Lee Screening Room.  

Join us for this one-day fest (10am-7pm) with Q&A's, a mixer with light refreshments and great films reflecting the rich variance of women in the diaspora.  This year's lineup includes Little Brother by Jasmin Tiggett and Nicole Franklin, Ja'tovia Gary's Deconstructing Your
Mother, Rachel Johnson's White Sugar In A Black Pot, Hemamset Angaza's In Our Heads
About Our Hair, Femi Agbayewa's Brooklyn Shakara and many more gems.
