Pronto Comics. We will be having an event on Saturday, July 28th at Pearl Studios in room 1214 (500 8thAvenue btw. west 35 and west 36th streets) in Manhattan from 8:30p.m. - 11:00p.m. The cover is $10 dollars. This will be an art event for comic book creators. The event is called Phrases to Pages. Contestants will create one comic book page based off of a phrase. One writer and one artist will be paired together for the event, so writers and artists are both welcomed. We will be having industry professionals as guest judges as well as an open bar sponsored by Brooklyn Brewery and Casa Herradura Tequila. There will mingling, networking, portfolio reviews, and fun to go along with the prize giveaways.
