Chris Duggan Live at Pianos

Chris Duggan is a talented guitarist, songwriter and student at New York University's prestigious Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music.  Chris is one of only 40 students accepted annually to the esteemed program and is currently completing his studies as an Artist Entrepreneur.  At age 13, Chris met longtime idol and rock-and-roll legend Les Paul at New York’s Iridium Jazz Club and was invited on stage to perform with him.  And at age 17, Chris moved to New York City to pursue his dream.
On May 25, Chris will be performing songs from his three albums as well as a new, not yet released single.
As a musician, Chris is a multi-platform master, easily transitioning between bass guitar, mandolin, piano, drums, trumpet and trombone, to name a few. He is also the lead vocalist for Chris Duggan. A true master at blending musical styles, Chris cultivates a versatile sound that glides between genres not only within an album but at times even within a single track.  In “Sailor’s Hymn” listeners are treated to an acoustic lead-in that amps up to rock.  Similarly, the jazz breakdown in “Fire Away” easily blends with electric rock. Among his biggest influences, Chris credits The Rolling Stones, The Doors, The Strokes, and Muse, and admits to having a “major musical crush” on British DJ, producer and musician Mark Ronson.  Chris Duggan performs regularly in clubs and venues in New York City and Los Angeles. He is a member of ASCAP and The Recording Academy. He has recorded three albums of original songs including "Answers" released in Los Angeles in 2008 during Golden Globe week and "Beacon" released in Los Angeles in 2009 during Academy Awards week. His third album, "Chris Duggan: Live at The Bitter End" was produced, recorded and mixed by Carl Glanville who won two Grammy Awards for the U2 album "How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb." Chris Duggan is founder of True North Records and Thousand Eyes Publishing.
Band members include Chris Duggan, vocals and rhythm guitar; Johnny Provenzano, lead guitar; Brent Butler, bass guitar; and Tommy Perkins, drums and percussion.
