Arts Calendar: What's Up at BRIC and BAM?

Do some "stargazing" at BAM this week.

Take a look at what's going on this week at BRIC House and BAM in Brooklyn:

At BAM: At Tuesday night's free event, You Are Here: Artist Talk and Stargazing with Ken Nintzel, you can check out a Next Wave installation on the BAM rooftop for FREE! The event is at 7 p.m. Nov. 19 and costs nothing — though seating is limited. According to BAM: " This unique virtual stellarium offers audiences an opportunity to experience both the sculptural and celestial versions of the night sky’s mythical characters." Sounds pretty rad, and even if it's not, you don't have to pay for it.

At BRIC House: Tony-winning Brooklyn artist Stew will host an exploration of several of his work's in progress, live on stage, for the bargain-basement price of $10. It starts Friday, Nov. 22 at 7:30 p.m. For more information, check out the BRIC listing here.
