Legislative Summit of New York's African-American Faith-Based Community Leaders Kicks Off Today

A summit taking place this morning in Washington, DC will feature some of the most prominent African-American faith-based community leaders in the state, and you can watch it all unfold from the comfort of your own home.
Reverend Al Sharpton is among many of the speakers who will join U.S. Senator Kristen Gillibrand today at 9:00am, as she convenes her second annual Legislative Summit of African-American faith-baised leaders. The summit, titled, "A New Day, A New Revelation, A New Budget Reality: A Game Plan for Faith Based Institutions,” will be attended by more than 170 leaders representating organizations serving African-American communities across New York state.
The summit will look at how faith leaders can utilize resources to deal with challenges facing African-American communities across the state.
