We at Peripatetic Media, based in Bedford-Stuyvesant, have just released the first collection of transpositions titled From Wahnsinnig to the Loony Bin (May 7, 2013; available from Amazon).

Transposition is a genre we have created between translation and adaptation. It retains the form of the original text and changes its content if the present and past contexts are incompatible.

The stories have all been transposed from German and Russian. More information is available at www.transposing.net.
