Brooklyn, For the Young and Still Kinda Young

What's up around town?

Looking for something to do in Brooklyn with the kids? Or just on your own? Check out what's going on or add suggestions in the comments.

Feeding Frenzy at the Brooklyn Children's Museum, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and again from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. is an up-close look at what the animals in the museum eat. At the Brooklyn Children's Museum in Crown Heights.

For a slightly more advanced education, you can head to the Fashion Studies event on the Pratt campus and take a look at art installations, clothing and exhibits from the Institute's staff. It's open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Alternate side parking is, as usual, in effect, so make sure your car isn't in a bad spot.

We're looking at another nice, clear day in the skies, too, with temperatures in the mid 70's and few clouds.
