Volunteers planted daffodils and cleaned up leaves today for It's My Park Day at Von King Park
The Von King Park Revitalization Committee, along with volunteers from churches and the City's teen probation program met early this morning at Von King Park to take part in the citywide initiative known as, "It's My Park Day!"
The group's mission is to revitalize garden beds, plant daffodils, clean up leaves and make Von King Park park a cleaner more beautiful place to workout, play and visit.
The group will continue working until 4:00pm today. More volunteers are needed and welcomed!
