Police Seeking Robbery Suspect

The investigation is ongoing

Police are seeking the public's assistance in locating Julius Wright, a man also known as "Stinky," in connection to a September 5 robbery at gunpoint on Myrtle and Throop Avenues.

According to police reports, on Monday, September 5, at approximately 3:30am, the suspect approached a 24-year-old man was was walking down Myrtle Avenue, threatened him with a simulated firearm and demanded his cell phone by force. The suspect then asked the victim about his sexual orientation and berated the victim with anti-gay epithets. 

The suspect is described as a 21-year-old black male, 6'1", approximately 170lbs with a tattoo on his left forearm that spells "Slim".  He was last seen wearing dark clothing.
