Monday Night Shooting on Dekalb Leaves One Injured, One Dead

No arrest(s); the investigation is ongoing

Police were called to the scene of a multiple shooting on Dekalb Avenue and Skillman Street last night that left one woman injured and another man dead.

On Monday, October 17, at around 6:40pm, police within the confines of the 79th Precinct responded to a 911 call of a man shot at Skillman Street. Upon arrival, police discovered two victims, a 31-year-old man shot once in the torso and a 43-year-old female shot in once in the arm.

The male victim was transported to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The female victim also was taken to Kings County Hospital and is in stable condition.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
